 Workshop will include information about the District's Lake System Health monitoring program and the results from 2007. This includes recreational water quality testing, shoreline land use surveys and biological monitoring program. Also information about the Muskoka River Water Management Plan.

The Muskoka Heritage Foundation will once again be holding their native tree and shrub sale on Saturday, May 10, 2008.  Some associations have expressd an interest in participating in the sale and if your association is interested, please contact Barb at the Muskoka Heritage Foundation in the next week or two.
 

The District Municipality of Muskoka is pleased to announce that consumer based electronic equipment will now be accepted at selected waste depots in 2008. Equipment such as obsolete computers, printers, scanners, monitors, home electronics including stereos, VCRs, televisions and telephones will be accepted free of charge from Muskoka residents.
The Electronics Diversion Depot will be open at the sites and on the dates indicated below. Hours of operation will be between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm., except the January 2009 dates, when they are open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
